Chicago HD's number one expertise is high definition post production. Our strength lies in our experience bringing hardware and software together quickly, seamlessly and creatively. Chicago HD's extensive array of video equipment is installed on-site and owned by us, regularly maintained by our chief engineer, Gary Chang. From pre-production through creative editorial and mastering, we pride ourselves on providing a consistent level of high-quality, personal service.

Our two uncompressed Final Cut Pro/Kona edit suites are available for rent with or without an editor. Please refer to our FAQ for more information on digital video editing.

Chicago HD supports most professional uncompressed and compressed HD formats, including: Sony HDCAM-SR (both 4:4:4 and 4:2:2), Sony HDCAM, Panasonic Multi-Format D5 and DVCProHD, RED footage, P2 media and Sony 1080i HDV. Standard definition formats include: Sony Digital Betacam, Beta SP, DVCAM, DVCPro and DVD.
